Terms and Conditions

For SOMA Mentoring and Events with Anna Graue

These Terms and Conditions outline the legal and practical framework for participating in the SOMA Mentoring program and related events led by Anna Graue (hereafter referred to as "the Coach"). By booking a service or event, you accept the following terms.

1. Scope of Services

SOMA Mentoring is a process-oriented 1:1 guidance program tailored to support clients through personal, emotional, and spiritual transitions. It integrates trauma-informed somatic methods, emotional regulation tools, and legal plant medicines (such as ceremonial cacao and functional mushrooms). The program includes online or in-person sessions, self-reflection exercises, and integration support. Group events may include guided ceremonies, bodywork, workshops, and community practices.

2. Nature of the Service

The services offered are non-clinical and do not substitute for medical or psychological treatment. Coaching is a service based on voluntary participation and self-responsibility.

3. Code of Conduct

The Coach reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any point if the client displays disrespectful, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior. This applies before, during, or after sessions or events. No refund will be issued in such cases.

4. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Take full responsibility for their physical and emotional well-being throughout the coaching process.
  • Attend sessions on time and create space before and after to engage meaningfully.
  • Cancel or reschedule sessions with at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Participate actively and apply the tools and practices with commitment. The success of the process depends on the client’s own engagement.
  • Abide by the community agreements and values outlined at the beginning of group events or shared spaces.

5. Contraindications and Safety Information

Participation in SOMA Bodywork requires a basic level of physical and emotional stability. As with all somatic and breath-based practices, certain health conditions may present contraindications. These include, but are not limited to: acute trauma, untreated mental health conditions, cardiovascular issues, respiratory diseases, or pregnancy. Clients are responsible for informing the Coach about any relevant health issues prior to participating.

For a complete list of contraindications and safety guidelines, please refer to the official resource: www.annagraue.com/contraindications

Participation is at the client's own risk. The Coach reserves the right to exclude clients from certain practices if safety cannot be ensured.

6. Coach Responsibilities

The Coach agrees to:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality about all personal information shared.
  • Clearly explain methods, including their purpose and possible risks.
  • Remain neutral and not impose personal, political, or religious views.
  • Create a respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory space.

7. Payment Terms

  • Full payment for the SOMA Mentoring program is required prior to the first session unless another agreement is made in writing.
  • Event fees are due in full at the time of registration unless another agreement is made in written.
  • All fees are listed in euros. VAT does not apply under the German small business regulation (§19 UStG).
  • Clients are responsible for any international bank fees or currency conversion costs incurred during payment.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Mentoring: Once the program has started, fees are non-refundable. In exceptional cases (e.g., illness or personal emergency), sessions may be rescheduled.
  • Missed Sessions: If the client misses a session without at least 24 hours' notice, the session will be forfeited and charged in full. With timely notice, a new date will be arranged.
  • Events: Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to another person if requested in advance. If an event is canceled by the Coach, participants will receive a full refund.

9. Right of Withdrawal for Online Bookings (EU Law)

If the service is booked online, clients have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of purchase, as per EU consumer protection law. This right expires if the service begins within this period and the client has explicitly agreed to waive the withdrawal right.

10. Confidentiality

All client information is treated with strict confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, unless legally required.

11. Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)

The client agrees to the collection and processing of their personal data (name, address, contact details) for the purpose of service delivery. The client has the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete their personal data;
  • Restrict or object to data processing;
  • Request data portability;
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing;
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority if necessary.
  • Understand that client data may be temporarily processed by third-party tools (e.g., Zoom, Google, hosting services) in accordance with GDPR-compliant procedures.
  • Know that data will be retained for up to 2 years for legal, billing, or marketing purposes unless a different arrangement is requested in writing.

12. Intellectual Property

All materials (texts, audios, methods) provided during sessions or through the program are the intellectual property of the Coach. They are intended solely for the client’s personal use. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.

13. Media Consent

By attending events, the client agrees to the possibility of being photographed, filmed, or recorded. These materials may be used for promotional or documentation purposes. The client may withdraw this consent in writing prior to the event.

14. Disclaimer and No Guarantee Clause

The Coach does not guarantee specific results. The effectiveness of the coaching process depends on the client’s personal effort and willingness to engage. The Coach is not liable for decisions or actions the client takes outside of the sessions. The Coach shall not be liable for any physical, psychological, or material consequences resulting from the client’s use or interpretation of the methods shared.

15. Force Majeure

If the Coach is unable to attend due to illness, accident, or other unforeseen circumstances, the session will be rescheduled. No compensation will be provided for travel or other related costs.

16. Legal Framework

Services are provided under the German small business regulation (§19 UStG) and are VAT-exempt.

17. Jurisdiction

This contract is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Chemnitz.

18. Severability Clause

If any provision of this contract is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective. Amendments must be made in writing.
